Maize PR38N86

The PR38N86 corn hybrid is a mid-season, simple grain-type hybrid with FAO 320, featuring high yield potential and excellent water use efficiency. The dent-type kernel is well-suited for grain production. This hybrid is suitable for early planting and exhibits rapid early growth, ensuring good germination and plant development in the initial growth phase.

PR38N86 demonstrates high drought and heat tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including regions with limited water availability. The hybrid adapts well to cold and humid conditions, expanding its cultivation potential across all of Ukraine. Additionally, it possesses strong compensatory ability under thinning, allowing it to maintain yield even when plant density is reduced.

The hybrid is resistant to several diseases, including Helminthosporium, blister, and gray leaf spot, which reduces the risk of yield loss and decreases the need for intensive plant protection. PR38N86 is suitable for cultivation in monoculture or minimum tillage systems, and allows for late harvest. Recommended planting density varies depending on water availability: 70-75 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient water, and 60-65 thousand plants per hectare under limited water.
