Pioneer's PR39B76 corn hybrid is a medium-early dent-type variety with a maturity group of FAO 280, intended for grain production. This hybrid is characterized by high productivity with a yield potential of 13-15 tons per hectare and features rapid moisture loss during ripening, facilitating harvest. Seeds are suitable for monoculture and minimum tillage, and are also adapted for late planting, expanding agronomic options.
PR39B76 exhibits high drought and heat tolerance, making it an optimal choice for regions with insufficient moisture, such as Ukraine’s forest-steppe, northern steppe, and forest zones. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to stalk lodging and tolerance to corn borer, reducing yield losses from pests. Additionally, the variety is resistant to common corn diseases, including helminthosporium, blister, and ear diseases, ensuring stable and high-quality yields.
To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to maintain optimal planting density: 75-80 thousand plants per hectare with sufficient moisture, and 65-70 thousand with limited moisture. The hybrid does not tolerate waterlogged soils or cold conditions and is not recommended for late harvest, as it poorly withstands field stand delays. Seeds are supplied in batches of 5 planting units, each containing approximately 80,000 seeds.
