Wheat Strieten'ska

Field Performance and Reliability

For those managing wheat production, the "Stritenska" winter wheat variety from the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine represents a robust choice for varied field conditions. The variety is characterized by high adaptability to Ukrainian soil profiles, which simplifies crop rotation planning. Its main strength lies in genetic resistance: the plant naturally counters leaf rust, septoria, fusarium head blight, and powdery mildew. This reduces the need for emergency fungicide applications, keeping your operating budget under control even in high-moisture seasons.

Operational Efficiency

With a potential yield of 8–9 tons per hectare, "Stritenska" responds well to intensive fertilization. Crucially, the plant exhibits excellent lodging resistance. For the harvester operator, this means smoother, faster passes with minimal header losses. The shorter stem profile ensures that energy is directed into grain development rather than biomass, making harvesting more efficient and less time-consuming.

• Cost-Efficiency: Lower pesticide load due to the variety's inherent disease resistance.
• Harvesting Ease: High lodging resistance ensures cleaner and faster combine operation.
• Adaptability: Developed specifically for the Ukrainian climate to minimize environmental risks.

By opting for "Stritenska," you are investing in a predictable outcome. The grain matures uniformly, allowing for streamlined logistics during the harvest window. It balances the need for high-intensity production with the practical requirements of daily agricultural operations.
