Shrek

Shrek wheat hybrid is a late-maturing, high-yielding variety, distinguished by high drought resistance and winter hardiness. It features rapid and dynamic spring development, early flowering, and regenerative capacity, ensuring a stable yield even under adverse climatic conditions. Yield potential ranges from 55-60 c/ha, and its high oil content (up to 48.4%) makes it particularly valuable for agricultural production.

Shrek exhibits high resistance to diseases including fusarium and verticillium, as well as cabbage yellows, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation on various soil types, including heavy soils, and is recommended for forest-steppe, Polissia, and steppe regions of Ukraine. Due to its late maturity, it extends the harvesting window and is suitable for direct combine harvesting.

Recommended cultivation technologies include classical agronomy with seeding rates from 400,000 to 550,000 seeds per hectare, depending on planting time and soil quality. Optimal planting times are early and late, allowing adaptation to different climatic conditions. Application of nitrogen and growth regulators at specific growth stages helps maximize the hybrid's potential and ensures high productivity.
