Shpalivka — this is a winter soft wheat of universal use, developed by the farm 'Bor' and registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2016. The variety is characterized by ultra-early maturity, with a vegetation period of 260-272 days, allowing the crop to be sown in autumn or winter months. It is plastic in physiological and morphological traits, well-adapted to various soil-climate conditions, especially in southern and northern regions, and does not require special care. Shpalivka is distinguished by high stable yield — from 70 to 120 centners per hectare (7.5-10.8 t/ha). Plants have a height of 80-85 cm, large elongated, egg-shaped grain, belonging to the group of strong wheats. The variety is resistant to lodging, root rot, and has complex resistance to major diseases. It also demonstrates high frost resistance, winter hardiness, heat tolerance, and resistance to soil and air drought. The grain of the Shpalivka variety is used for producing flour products, grits, and flour, making it universally applicable. The sowing rate is 4.5-5.0 million seeds per hectare. Due to its properties, this variety is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a productive and resilient crop for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones.
