Wheat Poradnitsia

Stability for Intensive Farming

«Poradnytsia» is a winter wheat variety developed by the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine, specifically engineered for commercial producers who prioritize predictable yields and intensive management. This variety is best suited for high-fertility soils where growers can fully leverage its genetic yield potential.

Field Performance and Management

• Nutrient Response. The variety thrives under intensive fertilization programs. It shows a strong response to split nitrogen applications, particularly during the tillering and jointing phases, ensuring efficient conversion of inputs into grain weight.
• Winter Hardiness. One of the key advantages for practical farming is its reliable winter survival rate. This stability helps producers avoid the financial burden of re-seeding and ensures an optimal plant population after the spring thaw.
• Harvest Efficiency. The cultivar features excellent lodging resistance, which simplifies harvesting operations and minimizes grain loss. Furthermore, its moderate-to-high resistance to major leaf pathogens allows for a streamlined fungicide program, optimizing input costs throughout the growing season.

Integrating «Poradnytsia» into your crop rotation provides a balance between high-end grain quality and yield reliability. It is a preferred choice for farmers aiming to achieve consistent milling-grade wheat while keeping production costs predictable through efficient agronomic management.
