Podil'ska Niva — this is an intensive type winter wheat variety, characterized by its universality for cultivation on various agrofons. By variety type, it is similar to the Pysanka variety, has a xeromorphic structure, ensuring high adaptability to dry steppe conditions. The ear of this variety is large and well-branched, containing 62 to 82 grains, and is also characterized by high productive tillering. The vegetation period of this variety coincides with that of the Antonivka variety, enabling effective planning of sowing and harvest. The Podil'ska Niva variety is suitable for cultivation after non-wheat predecessors and demonstrates increased tolerance to early sowing. In special trials, it showed relatively high resistance to low and medium agrofons, but responds well to nitrogen fertilizer application, which contributes to increased yield. Sowing rates and sowing dates vary depending on soil condition and cultivation zone, allowing adaptation of agronomic practices to specific conditions. Podil'ska Niva is cultivated in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine, particularly in the Khmelnytskyi region. This variety is known as a high-quality cereal crop used for bread and other wheat-based products. It combines high yield, good grain strength, and compliance with modern agronomic requirements, making it attractive to agricultural producers.
