NS Futura

Winter wheat NS Futura is a mid-late maturing variety with high seed weight and excellent agronomic characteristics. Stem height is 85-95 cm, 1000-seed weight ranges from 43 to 46 grams, and hectoliter weight reaches 82-86 kg. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. Recommended seeding rate is 200 kg/ha, corresponding to optimal plant density of about 500 seeds per square meter.

NS Futura has high protein content (12-14%) and wet gluten content (27-33%), making it an excellent raw material for producing bread flour of quality class A2. Falling number (sedimentation time) ranges from 260-380 seconds, indicating high gluten quality and good baking properties of the grain. The variety also exhibits very good resistance to powdery mildew, reducing disease risks and enhancing yield reliability.

Yield potential of NS Futura depends on growing conditions: under unfavorable conditions, it yields 4-5 tons per hectare; under normal conditions — 6-8 tons; and under favorable conditions, it may exceed 10 tons per hectare.
