Wheat Noshspa 100

Reliability of Nosivka Breeding Station

The «Noshpa 100» wheat variety is a result of long-term development by breeders at the Nosivka Selection and Research Station. This variety is aimed at agronomists who prioritize a balance between stable yields and grain quality within the Ukrainian climate. Its key strength is adaptability to the soil and climatic conditions of the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones, where it shows resilience against various environmental stressors.

Advantages and Features

• Yield Potential: The variety delivers predictable results even with moderate intensification, helping to keep the cost per ton competitive.
• Quality Standards: The grain meets the requirements for food-grade production, allowing farmers to target both milling industries and export markets.
• Agronomic Resilience: «Noshpa 100» displays excellent resistance to lodging and shattering, which is critical during the harvesting period.

Who is this variety for?

For farm managers looking to minimize risks associated with sudden temperature fluctuations or unstable moisture, «Noshpa 100» is a rational choice. It is a robust, reliable performer that does not require overly complex crop protection schemes but remains highly responsive to proper crop rotation and basic fertilization. Compared to high-intensity foreign hybrids, this variety is less sensitive to minor agronomic errors, making it an excellent option for farmers who value proven, domestically bred solutions.

Weaknesses: Like most Ukrainian-bred varieties, it may trail behind Western intensive hybrids in terms of growth intensity when subjected to extremely high fertilizer rates. However, this trade-off is balanced by its durability under the stresses typical of local agricultural environments.
