Wheat Silver

Stability and Adaptability in One Ear

Winter wheat variety 'Sribliastyi' from the Selection and Genetics Institute (Ukraine) is a proven solution for farmers focusing on harvest predictability. Unlike many ultra-intensive varieties that require ideal conditions, this variety shows remarkable adaptability to the volatile climate of the Ukrainian steppe and forest-steppe zones.

Key Advantages

• Drought Tolerance: The variety is genetically adapted to limited moisture, acting as an insurance policy for regions with risky farming conditions.
• Technological Efficiency: 'Sribliastyi' soft wheat is highly responsive to fertilizers but maintains its yield potential even with moderate agrotechnical investment.
• Grain Quality: It consistently produces high gluten content, meeting the quality standards of the milling industry.

Who Should Choose This Variety

'Sribliastyi' is ideal for operations looking to minimize production risks without sacrificing total yield. It is preferred by those who are not willing to gamble with their harvest for the sake of the uncertain high-yield potential of Western hybrids that require expensive input packages. The variety is forgiving of minor deviations in sowing dates and demonstrates excellent tillering energy. A minor trade-off is the need for vigilant fungicide protection during humid springs to prevent leaf spot diseases.

By choosing this variety, you are investing in reliability backed by years of field trials from a leading national breeding institution.
