Bellatrix

Wheat of the Bellatriks variety is a high-quality winter wheat variety, characterized by high yield and resistance to various adverse conditions. This variety has a medium-late maturity period and is adapted for cultivation in the central-western regions of Ukraine. Bellatriks features high thousand-grain weight, high protein and gluten content, ensuring the production of high-quality flour. The spike type is glumeless, which facilitates harvesting and reduces grain loss.

The variety exhibits high winter hardiness and resistance to lodging, enabling it to successfully withstand frosts and temperature fluctuations. Bellatriks demonstrates good drought and heat tolerance, as well as resistance to a wide range of diseases, including septoria, powdery mildew, rust, and Fusarium head blight. Due to these characteristics, the variety's yield is consistently high and may reach 9–12 tons per hectare.

For sowing, the recommended seeding rate is 300–450 seeds per square meter, with the optimal sowing period from mid-September to mid-October. The variety is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipro, Donetsk, Kyiv, and other regions. Bellatriks shows good root system development in autumn and vigorous green mass growth in spring, which contributes to successful crop formation and high grain quality.
