AFK ELIT GRAIN is a medium-maturing winter wheat variety belonging to the erythrospermum (stiff) type. It was developed for cultivation in Ukraine and is characterized by high productivity, stable yields, and adaptability to various climatic conditions. The variety exhibits high winter hardiness and drought resistance, ensuring reliable crops and enabling the production of high-quality grain even under adverse weather conditions.
One of the key features of this variety is its high resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew, brown leaf rust, and other pathogens. This reduces the need for chemical plant protection, making cultivation more environmentally friendly and economically advantageous. AFK ELIT GRAIN responds well to mineral fertilization, which helps increase yields when fertilizers are applied optimally.
The grain of this variety has high protein, gluten, and dough strength content, making it suitable for producing first and second-class bakery products. The recommended seeding rate depends on planting time: early planting — 3.0–3.5 million viable seeds per hectare, optimal — 3.5–4.5 million, late planting — 4.5–5.0 million. The variety is suitable for both large-scale agricultural production and farm operations.
