Wheat AFK ELIT GRAIN

Stable Yield with Minimal Risk

The winter wheat variety 'AFK Elite Grain' by AF Kolos is designed for farmers who prioritize planning and predictable results. In the field, this variety is highly disciplined: the vegetation period proceeds steadily without any unpleasant surprises in yield potential. The awned nature of the ear plays a functional role here, providing additional resistance to field pests and birds, which helps maintain higher marketable weight per hectare.

Genetically Embedded Protection

The biggest headache for an agronomist—endless fungicide applications—becomes significantly easier with this variety. Its genetic resistance to brown leaf rust simplifies maintenance considerably. While neighboring fields might struggle with fungal outbreaks, 'AFK Elite Grain' keeps its leaves clean for much longer. This allows for more flexibility in your spraying schedule, moving away from constant emergency-mode management.

• Type: Winter wheat, awned.
• Selection: Originators Bahatchenko V.V. and Tsentylo L.V.
• Phytosanitary profile: High resistance to powdery mildew and plant rust.

Cultivation doesn't require complicated agronomic 'tricks.' The variety responds exceptionally well to standard intensive fertilization schemes, while still retaining enough resilience to endure moderate moisture deficits. During harvesting, the variety delivers excellent grain weight and quality, making it easy to manage both during threshing and when delivering to the elevator without worrying about quality-related penalties.
