KHASYR

KHASYR is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with a medium-early maturity period and medium plant height. The vegetation period ranges from 214 to 289 days, allowing for successful cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Lower Volga region, Western zone of the Republic of Kalmykia, as well as the Northwest, Azov, and South zones of the Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai. The plant is characterized by medium winter hardiness and lodging resistance, with a semi-erect habit and a cylindrical white ear of medium length. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 35 to 44 grams, indicating good grain quality.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to several diseases, including yellow rust, powdery mildew, septoria, brown rust, and stem rust, as well as moderate susceptibility to hard and powdery head smut. Yield in various regions reaches an average of 28.7 c/ha, and under favorable conditions can reach up to 87.8 c/ha. These figures make KHASYR attractive for intensive farming and ensure stable grain harvest even under drought and adverse weather conditions.

The grain of the KHASYR variety has high technological characteristics, making it in demand for the baking industry. Flour quality is characterized by high strength and gluten content, ensuring good baking properties.
