ESTIVUS

Wheat variety Estivus is a high-yielding winter variety intended for cultivation on high-quality soils in regions with rainfall around 500 mm, such as the Polissya and Forest Steppe. The plant is medium-tall with a spike containing approximately 50 grains. The potential yield of this variety reaches 120 centners per hectare. Optimal sowing period is from September 5 to October 15, at a seeding rate of 3.0–4.5 million seeds per hectare. Estivus exhibits good resistance to various stresses and diseases, including cold, drought, lodging, powdery mildew, yellow and brown rust, as well as leaf and spike septoria.

The grain quality of the Estivus variety is characterized by a crude protein content of 7%, sedimentation 9, falling number 8, flour yield 7, and bread volume 8, making it attractive for the bakery industry. The variety has good resistance to lodging and stress conditions, which contributes to stable high yields even under adverse climatic conditions.
