Corn DKS 3969 is a high-tech mid-season hybrid distinguished by its high adaptability to various soil-climate conditions and cultivation technologies. This hybrid is suitable for all growing zones, including the Polesie, Forest Steppe, and Steppe, and can be successfully cultivated on most soil types, except heavy clay soils. The optimal soil temperature for sowing is 8°C, and the hybrid responds well to both conventional and minimal tillage. Due to its strong, regenerative plant structure and robust root system, DKS 3969 demonstrates high resistance to drought, lodging, and common diseases such as helminthosporiosis, head smut, and fusarium. The hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 115 centners per hectare — and high starch content in the grain, exceeding 72%. The grain is dent-type, with 1000-grain weight ranging from 300–350 grams. Plant height reaches 230–250 cm, with ear rows varying from 14 to 16, and grains per row from 34 to 40. Due to these characteristics, DKS 3969 is recommended for grain and silage use, and can also be used for bioethanol and biogas production. To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to maintain optimal planting density depending on moisture conditions: 70–80 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, 60–70 thousand under unstable conditions, and 55–60 thousand under insufficient moisture. The hybrid features rapid early growth energy and quick water release, promoting timely harvest and reducing losses. Its high plasticity and stability make DKS 3969 a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality and stable corn yields.
