EN TSEFEY

EN TSEFEY is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of the universal type, intended for cultivation in various agro-climatic conditions, in particular in the Central-Black Earth region. The variety is mid-season with a vegetative period from 265 to 298 days, characterized by an average plant height of 78 to 96 cm and intensive productive tillering. The ear of the variety is spindle-shaped, of medium length (about 15 cm), medium density, white color, with colored grain. The mass of 1000 grains varies within 38-46 g, which ensures good yield.

The variety has lodging resistance at the level of known varieties Lyogovskaya 4 and Skypet, and also demonstrates high resistance to a number of diseases, including fusarium of the ear, snow mold, powdery and loose bunt, and average resistance to septoria and brown rust. Winter hardiness is average, with high frost resistance, which allows successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. Drought resistance is somewhat lower than that of the variety Snigurka.

EN TSEFEY is distinguished by stable and high yield, the average indicator of which in the Central-Black Earth region is 58.2 c/ha, with a potential yield of up to 110 c/ha. Gluten content reaches 28%, and protein - up to 15%, which makes this variety in demand for baking production. Recommended for cultivation using conventional and intensive technology on various agro-fonds and predecessors with a sowing rate of from 300 to 450 seeds per square meter depending on conditions.
