Description DARK AMBER
Hard winter wheat DARK AMBER® is a high-quality variety designed for flour and bakery product production. This variety is distinguished by high disease resistance, ensuring yield stability and reducing the need for intensive plant protection. Thanks to good winter hardiness, DARK AMBER successfully withstands unfavorable climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in various regions.

The variety is characterized by medium plant height of about 100 cm; the stems do not tend to lodge, which facilitates harvesting and improves grain quality. The wheat head is black, awned, and boat-shaped, 7-8 cm long with long awns. The grain is white with a high vitreousness level of 98%, indicating grain hardness and quality. Raw gluten content reaches 33.8%, which positively affects flour technological properties and the quality of the final product.

The yield of the DARK AMBER variety is high—on average 57.8 centners per hectare, making it profitable for agricultural production. The variety also possesses drought resistance, which further enhances its adaptability to various growing conditions. Thanks to its characteristics, this variety is widely used in grain farming and is recommended for sowing to obtain high-quality grain for the food industry.
