Chornobrova — a unique winter wheat variety obtained by crossing black-seeded wheat and phleum. The grain of this variety is characterized by a dark color, ranging from dark purple to black, due to its high content of antioxidants. Thanks to its special composition, Chornobrova wheat has a rich flavor and improved nutritional properties, including a higher level of protein, B-vitamins, trace elements, and iron, as well as reduced gluten content. This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 8.4 tons per hectare, and thousand-grain weight of about 43.2 grams. The grain contains a significant proportion of easily soluble proteins, positively affecting flour and final product quality. Chornobrova is distinguished by resistance to various diseases and stress factors, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in Central and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine.
