The Shamberi corn hybrid is a high-yielding variety with dent kernel type, intended for cultivation in forest-steppe, steppe, and meadow regions. Plants reach a height of approximately 260 cm, with ear attachment height of about 100-110 cm. The 1000-kernel weight is approximately 300 grams, indicating large and high-quality seeds. The number of rows on the ear reaches 16, with 37 kernels per row, ensuring high yield potential.
This hybrid exhibits good resistance to major corn diseases, contributing to stable yields even under adverse conditions. The plant has a flexible and strong stalk, facilitating harvest and reducing losses. The initial growth energy is high, ensuring uniform and timely emergence, as well as rapid water release, which is particularly important for obtaining high-quality silage.
Shamberi is recommended for both grain and silage production. The optimal planting density depends on moisture levels: at adequate moisture, 85-90 thousand plants per hectare are recommended; at insufficient moisture, 70-75 thousand. To achieve maximum productivity, fertilization in the 3-5 leaf stage is recommended, and herbicide and insecticide applications must strictly follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
