ALTAISKAYA 75 — a medium-maturing soft spring wheat variety created through twice individual selection from a complex hybrid combination. It belongs to the lutescens type and forms a white, glabrous, beardless head. The vegetative period from full emergence to wax maturity is about 87 days, ensuring timely ripening in the conditions of the West Siberian, East Siberian, and Far Eastern regions.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to drought and lodging, making it a reliable choice for growing in various agro-ecological conditions. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 34 to 42 grams, while the maximum yield reaches 65.1 centners per hectare. Moreover, the variety has good agro-ecological plasticity and a high productivity potential, exceeding standard varieties in yield and grain quality by 10-12%.

ALTAISKAYA 75 is characterized by excellent baking qualities, with protein content of at least 15% and raw gluten of at least 28%. However, the variety is moderately susceptible to powdery mildew and highly susceptible to root rot and brown rust. These features should be taken into account when organizing plant protection. In general, the variety represents a strong wheat with high grain quality and stable productivity, recommended for cultivation in the regions of Siberia and the Far East.
