The 'Ser Majestic' walnut variety is a new high-yielding Ukrainian variety registered in the state registry. It was developed by the breeder O. Ponomarenko from Izmail and is recommended for planting intensive commercial orchards. The medium-sized tree with a willow-like crown is resistant to diseases and has terminal fruiting. Flowering is protogynous, beginning in early May, which facilitates successful pollination. The variety is self-fertile, simplifying care and increasing yield stability.
The 'Ser Majestic' variety's fruits have an ideal round shape, comparable in size to a tennis ball, with an average weight of about 22 grams. The kernel separates easily from the shell, with a kernel yield reaching 52%. The shell is thin but strong, effectively preventing pests such as the walnut husk fly from penetrating. The variety exhibits high drought and cold resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Harvesting typically occurs in the last decade of September.
