The 'Ideal' hazelnut variety is a fast-maturing and compact tree, reaching a height of 4-5 meters. This variety stands out for its low stature compared to other types and can grow both as a shrub and as a full-sized tree. It blooms in May, uniquely flowering twice: the second blooming occurs several weeks after the first. The fruits ripen over a two-month period, from September to October, and are harvested in clusters, each containing several oval-shaped nuts.
