This variety was obtained at the All-Russian Selection and Technology Institute for Horticulture and Nursery by A.I. Evstratov from crossing varieties Vladimirskaya and Lyubskaya. The variety was included in the State Register for the Central Region since 1997.
The tree is medium-sized — up to 3.5 m tall, with a round, moderately dense crown, medium-sized leaves, inversely egg-shaped, dark green, with serrated leaf margins. Bears fruit on last year's growth and on flower clusters.
The fruits are large (mass 4.5 g), oval, dark red, suitable for fresh consumption and processing. The taste is slightly sour-sweet, dessert-like, with medium-firm, juicy flesh, dark red juice, medium-sized stone, easily separates from the flesh.
Winter hardiness is average, comparable to Vladimirskaya. Resistance to the most dangerous fungal diseases (moniliosis and coccomycosis) is average. Productivity is high (12-15 kg per tree or 10 t/ha). The variety is early-bearing, with annual fruiting, ripens July 20-25, self-fertile.
Advantages of the variety: one of the most reliable medium-ripening varieties with high yield of high-quality fruit.
Disadvantages: average resistance to fungal diseases.
