This variety was obtained by crossing Zhukovskaya with Novoselka. Originator — All-Russian Research Institute of Genetics and Selection of Fruit Plants named after I.V. Michurin. Authors: I.G. Tikhonova, G.G. Nikiforova, T.A. Pisanova. The variety is under state variety testing since 2003.
Medium-growing tree with a medium-dense, rounded crown. Branches of medium length, thin, straight, brown. Buds large, yellow. Leaves medium-sized, elliptical, dark green, slightly wrinkled, matte. Apex sharply pointed, base tapered, hairless. Leaf margin finely toothed. Petiole long, thin, pigmented. Flowers medium-sized, white. Fruit-bearing is mixed: on fruiting spurs, bouquet branches, and on last year’s growth, fruits do not drop.
Fruits large, one-dimensional, 16 mm high, 14 mm in diameter, fruit mass 4.8 g, shape rounded, slightly flattened on sides. Fruit apex rounded, small depression, base without depression, small cavity. Fruit and flesh color dark burgundy, flesh tender and juicy. Juice dark red. Taste characteristic: sour-sweet, 5.0 points. Dry matter content in fruits — 15.0%, sugars — 9.4%, acids — 1.0%, ascorbic acid — 10.6 mg/100g. Transportability good. Variety of universal use. Fruit stalk medium length and thickness, separates well from the branch, attachment medium. Pit medium size, well detached from flesh, free, oval-shaped.
Partially self-fertile, best pollinators are Zhukovskaya and Vladimirovskaya.
Advantages: high resistance to coccomycosis, annual yield, early ripening.
