Description
Developed by G.I. Dymnova and E.E. Kaverin at the Saratov Experimental Garden Station from crossing cherry varieties Zhukovskaya and Griot Ostgheimskiy. Undergoing state testing.
Medium growth rate tree up to 2.5-3 m, early fruiting, winter-hardy and drought-tolerant. Mixed fruiting type.
Large fruits weighing 5g, dark red, high taste quality. Flesh juicy, crisp, juice colored, small stone. Table variety.
Mid-season ripening variety. Begins fruiting on the 3rd-4th year after planting in the garden. Average yield 16 kg per tree. Bears fruit annually. Well withstands winters in the Volga region.
