The 'Generosity' hybrid of cherry and sour cherry is a high-yielding variety developed by crossing cherry and sour cherry varieties. This variety is characterized by early ripening — fruits are ready for harvest in the last decade of June. Trees begin bearing fruit on the 3rd-4th year after planting, reaching an average height of about 3.5 meters with a broadly round or moderately spreading canopy. The variety is suitable for commercial cultivation due to its high yield and good fruit transportability. The 'Generosity' variety's fruits have a dark red color and a flattened-round or heart-shaped form. The average berry weight ranges from 9 to 12 grams. The flesh is sweet, without acidity, with a distinct aroma blending cherry and sour cherry notes. Fruits do not crack during ripening and retain their market quality at room temperature for about two weeks, and up to a month in the refrigerator, making them convenient for storage and transport. The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 100 kg per mature tree by the 10th year. Trees are winter-hardy and provide a stable annual yield.
