Description Anadolskaya
Origin — Small Asia. One of the oldest and most widely distributed varieties. Cultivated in all zones of Dagestan. Approved in Dagestan.
Tree is vigorous, with a broad-pyramidal crown reaching 4.0-4.5 m in height, densely foliated, leaves medium-sized, lanceolate with a pointed apex.
Fruits are large, 4.5-5.0 g, round-oval, dark burgundy. Flesh is burgundy, tender, juicy, slightly tart-sweet, good flavor, with predominant acidity — 4.7 points. Pit is large, broadly oval, moderately separates from flesh, weighs 0.39 g or 8.3% of total fruit mass. Peduncle is long — 51 mm, moderately attached to the fruit.
Yield is medium, 9.0-10.0 kg per tree or 30.0 centners per hectare. (Year of planting 1981). Winter hardiness is good. Fruit-bearing begins from 4-5 years (on antipka) after planting in the orchard. The variety is highly resistant to gray fruit rot. Ripening is late, from July 10-17.
Fruits remain fresh for 5 days in storage, transportability is good. Fruits are used for high-quality processed products — jams, compote, and also consumed fresh.
Advantages of the variety: high-quality fruits, resistance to pests and diseases, good transportability.
Disadvantage: low-yielding variety.
