This variety was obtained at VSTISP by H.K. Enikeev and S.N. Satarova from crossing the varieties Vladimirskaya and Shubinka. It was included in the State Register for the Central Region in 1965.
The tree is of below-average height — up to 2 m, with a rounded, dense crown. Leaves are medium-sized, elongated-oval, dark green with a slight gloss, leaf margins finely serrated. Bears fruit on one-year-old shoots and bouquet branches.
Fruits are above-average size (mass 3.5-3.7 g), round, dark red, suitable for fresh consumption and various forms of technical processing. Taste is pleasantly tart-sweet, refreshing, flesh of medium density, dark red, juicy. Juice is red, stone is small, oval-rounded, difficult to separate from the flesh.
Productivity is average (6-7 kg per tree or 5-6 t/ha). The variety is early-fruiting and self-sterile. Best pollinators are Shubinka, Moscow Grif, Rosy Sklyanka. Winter hardiness of flower buds and multi-year branches is average. Resistance to coccomycosis and moniliosis is average.
Advantages of the variety: one of the few early-ripening (first half of July) cherry varieties with high-quality fruit.
Disadvantages: average resistance to fungal diseases, stone is difficult to separate from the flesh.
