Vika OMICHA 3 is an annual variety of vetch (Vicia sativa L.) intended for cultivation in a temperate climate as a spring crop in the first year. Seeds are characterized by high germination up to 95%, which ensures fast and reliable plant growth, as well as excellent adaptation to various soil conditions.
The variety demonstrates high yield potential: under optimal agronomic conditions, up to 8 t/ha can be achieved. It is resistant to diseases and pests, which reduces the risk of product losses and decreases the need for chemical protection. Vika OMICHA 3 maintains good soil microbiological activity, promoting root system development and increasing forage value.
To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to sow seeds in late March to mid-April, maintain soil moisture at 60–70% of irrigation level, and apply complex fertilizers with nitrogen and phosphorus. Seeds retain quality for up to 12 months at temperatures of 0–5 °C and moisture not exceeding 10%. This approach ensures stable growth, high productivity, and quality forage mass, making the variety in demand in agricultural production.
