Clover Felix

Premium Clover Selection for Intensive Pasture Management

The «Felix» clover variety, developed by the German breeding expert P.H.Petersen Saatzucht Lundsgaard, serves as a cornerstone for modern livestock and pasture management. Engineered for durability and high performance, this variety is tailored for agricultural operations that prioritize longevity and efficient forage production.

Practical Advantages in the Field

The primary value of «Felix» lies in its robust physical resilience. Designed to withstand the rigorous demands of intensive grazing, the plant maintains a high-density turf that resists trampling and soil compaction. This makes it an ideal choice for farmers managing frequent rotation schedules.

• Disease Resistance: The variety exhibits strong genetic resistance against Fusarium wilt and stem nematodes. By minimizing crop loss due to these common pathogens, «Felix» ensures more consistent yields and reduces the necessity for frequent field reseeding.
• Versatility in Use: With a height profile of 30–60 cm, this clover is equally effective as high-quality forage or for establishing resilient turf areas that need to endure mechanical activity.
• Ecological Impact: The distinct pink inflorescences are highly attractive to bees, making this crop a beneficial addition to surrounding biodiversity and local apiaries.

By integrating «Felix» into pasture mixtures, agricultural managers can reliably boost the nutritional profile of their animal feed while maintaining a low-maintenance, high-yield environment. Its structural integrity and resistance profile make it a reliable asset for sustainable farming operations.
