The vegetable pea variety VOSKHOD is a mid-late shelling leafy variety intended for fresh consumption and use in the canning industry. The plant is characterized by a semi-dwarf stem 65-75 cm long with 19 internodes, of which 14-16 are located before the first inflorescence. Leaves consist of two pairs of egg-shaped dark green leaflets, while stipules have a heart-shaped form. Flowers are large, white, located 2-3 on the first pedicel and 1-2 on subsequent ones. Pods are shelling with a developed parchment layer, dark green in technical maturity, with 7 to 12 pods forming on the plant, the first pod located at a height of 18 cm from the soil surface. Seeds are of medium size with a wrinkled surface and dark green skin, possessing good taste qualities. The VOSKHOD variety is distinguished by high yield, reaching 5.3-6.8 tons per hectare, or about 80 centners per hectare, as well as synchronous ripening. It has high resistance to fusarium wilts and is weakly affected by pea midge and fruit moth, making it a reliable choice for commercial production. Peas are well adapted to cultivation without irrigation and can successfully develop under hot conditions, which expands the possibilities for their cultivation in various climatic zones. VOSKHOD pea fruits are rich in vitamins, micro- and macroelements, amino acids, and protein, making them beneficial for health and recommended for inclusion in the diet of both children and adults. Due to their nutritional properties and versatility of application, this variety is grown both on an industrial scale and on home plots. To obtain a high yield, it is important to observe correct agronomic practices during planting and plant care.
