Ukrainian 'Aborigen' F1 — is an annual hybrid of a late-maturing variety, characterized by intensive growth and the formation of a powerful rosette of serrated leaves. The plant is compact, reaching a height of up to 110 cm at the flowering stage, has a green stem without a blue tint and a weak waxy coating. The leaves are elongated, medium-cut, juicy and aromatic, making the greens particularly valuable for culinary use. The aroma of dill is preserved for a long time, and the taste remains fresh and rich until almost October, which significantly exceeds the terms of ordinary varieties.
This dill prefers loose, well-cultivated and sufficiently moist soil, and also requires sparse planting with an interval of 25x25 cm, as it grows in a bush and needs space for full development. The hybrid is distinguished by frost resistance, which allows sowing both under winter and early spring. Due to its characteristics, Aborigen F1 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones and is successfully used in home suburban farms.
Dill Aborigen F1 is indispensable in fresh form and is widely used in pickles, marinades and other culinary purposes. Commercial yield is about 2.1 kg of greens and 2.8 kg of spices per square meter, which makes it profitable for growing. High aromaticity and long-term preservation of taste qualities make this variety popular among gardeners who value quality and a stable harvest of greens.
