Kupchikha

The radish variety «Kupchikha» is a mid-early vegetable with a period from germination to technical maturity of about 55 days. The plant forms an erect rosette of medium height with long green leaves, slightly curved at the top and lightly pubescent. The root crop is flat-shaped and two-colored: the upper part is reddish-purple, the lower part is white. The pulp is very juicy and slightly firm, weighing about 222–235 grams. Taste qualities are good, with a characteristic sweet-spicy flavor. Yield reaches 8.4–9.8 kg per square meter. In addition, the variety «Kupchikha» is distinguished by its resistance to diseases, which facilitates care and increases cultivation reliability. It is recommended to grow on ordinary soils, preferably chernozems, with a moderate level of irrigation. For planting, roots are soaked for 15 minutes, then the plant is installed slightly below ground level and watered. The variety is suitable for growing in personal subsidiary farms and commercial plantations due to high yield and disease resistance. Radish «Kupchikha» has good transportability and is universal in application: it can be used for fresh consumption, making compotes and jams. The leaves of the plant have weak wavy edges and serrated edges, giving it a neat appearance.
