Chrysanthemum Half Flame

Ukrainian Selection Excellence

The «Polum'ya» chrysanthemum is a standout achievement from the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. Developed to thrive in local climatic conditions, this variety has established itself as a reliable staple for both florists and home gardeners. It represents the strength of domestic breeding, offering a high-performance alternative to imported ornamental varieties.

Performance and Features

• Visual Appeal: The deep red hue and dense pompon flower structure make «Polum'ya» an elegant choice for landscape design and cut flower arrangements. With a bloom diameter of up to 5 cm, it provides a refined, uniform appearance.
• Growth Habits: Reaching heights of 60+ cm, this tall-growing variety is purpose-built for the cut flower market. Its vigorous nature ensures strong stems and a prolific bloom cycle, which spans 40+ days, peaking in October.
• Winter Resilience: Unlike many ornamental hybrids, «Polum'ya» possesses high frost resistance. This makes it a robust perennial for open-ground cultivation, capable of enduring challenging winters while maintaining its health year after year.

Choosing «Polum'ya» means investing in a variety that balances professional-grade aesthetics with practical resilience. Its ability to maintain vibrant color and structural integrity in the garden or the vase makes it a quintessential choice for those looking to extend the beauty of autumn well into the late season.
