Chrysanthemum Princess Diana

Professional choice for floriculture and landscaping

Chrysanthemum 'Princess Diana' is a distinguished variety developed by the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. Designed for both commercial cut flower production and aesthetic landscaping, this variety stands out for its anemone-like flower shape and delicate pink color palette.

Agronomic performance and cultivation

• Planting and growth: With a moderate height of 30-60 cm, 'Princess Diana' is a bush-type chrysanthemum that remains compact, significantly reducing labor costs for staking or trellis support. The recommended planting period is in the autumn.
• Yield and harvest: The early blooming cycle in September is a strategic advantage for growers, ensuring market readiness before the late-autumn frost risks intensify.
• Market value: The flower diameter of 5-10 cm makes it a versatile mid-size variety, highly favored in the floral industry for creating structured, elegant bouquets.

Practical application in the field

For commercial growers, 'Princess Diana' serves as a reliable early-season performer. Its sturdy stems and uniform bush growth allow for optimized planting density in production plots. Beyond the cut flower market, it is an essential variety for decorative garden projects. Its ability to maintain vibrant blooms in early autumn makes it a top choice for landscape designers looking to add soft pink textures to garden beds and borders just as other perennials begin to fade.
