Tulip Super Parrot®

Efficiency Meets Aesthetics

«Супэр Паррот®» stands out as a reliable choice for commercial growers looking for a parrot tulip that combines visual appeal with mechanical durability. This mid-sized hybrid is engineered for stability, showing strong resistance to lodging, which is essential for maintaining a clean, professional-looking crop layout.

Operations and Crop Protection

Managing disease pressure is the biggest expense in floriculture, and that is where «Супэр Паррот®» excels. Its natural resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus and Cladosporium drastically reduces the need for intensive chemical interventions, allowing for a more streamlined and cost-effective spray schedule.

• Blooming Schedule: A mid-season bloomer, making it a perfect "bridge" variety for your production pipeline between early and late cycles.
• Visual Appeal: The crisp green and white petals create a premium, high-value look. However, the delicate, ruffled petal structure requires careful handling during harvest and packaging to avoid scuffing or bruising.
• Maintenance: Prefers well-drained soil and sheltered locations to protect the intricate blooms from extreme wind. The plant's mid-range height simplifies harvest labor and ensures compatibility with standard shipping containers.

For the operator, success with this variety comes down to timing the harvest of the bud precisely. Since the stems are sturdy and uniform, labor costs per unit remain low, as the crop requires minimal manual correction during the sorting process.
