Tulip Candy Prince

Predictability in the Growing Cycle

The 'Candy Prince' tulip is a member of the Triumph class, which for a commercial grower means professional-grade predictability. In greenhouse conditions, this cultivar demonstrates excellent discipline, avoiding excessive stem elongation, which simplifies logistics and handling during the packaging phase. Its medium height allows for optimal planting density without the risk of shading adjacent rows.

Phytosanitary Resilience

The core asset of this variety is its genetic resistance to Fusarium wilt and anthracnose. For the operator, this translates into lower costs for fungicide applications throughout the vegetative period. While other cultivars may struggle under minor deviations in temperature or humidity, 'Candy Prince' maintains structural integrity in both leaves and stems, ensuring the bud retains its market-ready quality until the moment of harvest.

Technical Performance

• Flowering: As a late-blooming variety, it effectively extends the selling season, capturing market demand after earlier batches have cleared.
• Color Profile: A soft, stable pink hue that resists fading and remains a florist favorite.
• Maintenance: The crop requires no specialized agricultural modifications; following the standard Triumph group feeding protocol ensures a high yield of top-tier cut flowers.

If your greenhouse operation prioritizes stability, reduced disease management overhead, and precise harvest scheduling, this variety offers a balanced solution for your late-season segment.
