Tulip Roland's Glory

Stability and Aesthetics: The Triumph Class Standard

The Roland's Glory tulip has long established its position in the mid-season segment, catering to both professional forcing operations and landscape design. Belonging to the renowned Triumph class, this variety embodies the key breeding achievements of its generation: a harmonious balance between striking visual appeal and robust physiological resilience.

Agrotechnical Potential

The primary value of Roland's Glory lies in its biological resistance. In intensive cultivation environments, this variety demonstrates a marked immunity to several pathogens that typically limit the yields of bulbous crops. Specifically, the variety shows high resistance to:

• Tobacco Mosaic Virus;
• Fusarium (Basal rot);
• Cladosporium (Cladosporiosis).

This resistance profile makes it a reliable choice for growers aiming to minimize fungicide usage and reduce losses of planting material during storage.

Decorative Qualities

The medium height of the stem paired with unique petal coloration creates a distinct visual impact. The color spectrum, shifting from deep red to vibrant lilac shades, makes the variety ideal for both mass plantings and sophisticated garden compositions. Its mid-season blooming period provides a smooth transition in the floral supply chain, effectively bridging the gap between early and late-blooming tulip groups.

For commercial producers, Roland's Glory represents a time-tested investment. Its standard height and sturdy peduncle significantly simplify the packaging and logistics of cut flowers, ensuring excellent shelf life and marketability.
