Tulip Queen of Marvel

Aesthetics and Forcing: Why Choose 'Queen of Marvel'

The 'Queen of Marvel' tulip is a staple of the early double segment, established in professional floriculture as a reliable tool for creating a high-quality spring inventory. Due to its balanced characteristics, this cultivar is sought after both for open-field production and greenhouse forcing.

Practical Application Scenarios

• Greenhouse Forcing: This variety is perfectly suited for seasonal production targets. Its mid-season blooming allows for precise production cycle scheduling. The dense, double-type bud handles transportation exceptionally well, maintaining its commercial quality post-harvest.
• Landscape Design: The medium height of the stem makes 'Queen of Marvel' an optimal choice for foreground and mid-ground flower beds. The pink petal color fits harmoniously into spring arrangements, while its resistance to lodging allows for use in open areas with moderate wind exposure.
• Commercial Floristry: Florists favor this variety for its peony-like bloom shape. When cut, it retains freshness for an extended period, providing the necessary volume for commercial floral designs.

Agronomically, this tulip does not require specialized operations beyond standard protocols for early double groups. During forcing, maintaining the cooling temperature regime is critical to ensure uniform stem elongation. 'Queen of Marvel' demonstrates high crop uniformity, which is vital for assembling commercial batches with consistent cutting parameters.
