SURUGU

Peony Surugu is a perennial plant from the P. lactiflora group, distinguished by its compact border bush reaching up to 65 cm in height. Its stems are upright, robust, and dark-colored, while its leaves are narrow and dark green, giving the plant a neat and densely foliated appearance. The peony flower has a bowl-shaped form with a diameter of about 14 cm, colored dark purple-carmine with strongly concave outer petals and a dense, small center. A distinctive feature of this variety is the red base of the staminodium and red pistils, as well as an aroma that is difficult to characterize unambiguously.
