Tulip Kurhause

Stability and Performance in Tulip Production

For professional growers, the choice of the 'Kurhaus' tulip variety is a strategic decision for reliability. Belonging to the Triumph class, this hybrid offers an excellent balance between aesthetic appeal and robust plant health. Unlike more sensitive varieties that require constant intervention, 'Kurhaus' is a low-maintenance, high-yield performer that remains predictable throughout the season.

Operational Efficiency

The primary advantage of 'Kurhaus' is its genetic resistance. When managing large plantings, you can expect minimal losses due to its strong defense against Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt, and Cladosporium. Its resistance to the Tomato mosaic virus adds another layer of security, ensuring your crop remains healthy even in adverse environmental conditions.

• Blooming Period: Mid-season. Its predictable schedule makes it ideal for forced production and commercial harvest planning.
• Color Profile: A vibrant combination of yellow and red petals that provides high market value.
• Structure: A medium-height plant, well-proportioned for both open field cultivation and professional forcing crates.

Maintenance and Care

From an operational perspective, the uniformity of 'Kurhaus' is a key asset. The bulbs exhibit consistent growth, resulting in uniform crops with very few laggards. This efficiency in growth directly translates into smoother harvesting processes and consistent packaging. Furthermore, because the variety possesses such strong natural resistance to major bulb pathogens, your expenditure on preventive fungicides is significantly reduced. 'Kurhaus' is designed to withstand standard field stressors, allowing you to focus on high-density production without the risk of frequent crop failure.
