Tulip Goldfinger

Stability and Predictability in Production

For professional flower growers, the Goldfinger tulip has become a benchmark for reliability in the Triumph class. If your objective is to achieve a predictable outcome by mid-season, this hybrid justifies your investment of resources completely. In operation, the plant demonstrates exceptional resistance to lodging, which is crucial for intensive cultivation in greenhouses or for forcing.

Health of Planting Material

One of the key characteristics that simplifies maintenance is the variety's natural immunity. Operators do not need to spend extra budget on aggressive fungicidal treatments, as Goldfinger effectively resists Verticillium and Fusarium wilt. The cultivar also demonstrates resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus and Cladosporium, which significantly reduces bulb culling rates during storage and vegetation cycles.

Agrotechnics and Operational Efficiency

• Forcing: A mid-season blooming variety, allowing for flexible harvest scheduling.
• Parameters: The medium stem height facilitates mechanized cutting and packaging processes.
• Visual Appeal: The vibrant yellow petals, combined with the classic Triumph shape, are highly sought after by retailers due to the color purity and bud density.

Managing a Goldfinger crop requires only standard fertilization protocols. Thanks to its sturdy stem, the risk of plant damage during regular irrigation or movement within the greenhouse facility is minimal. This is a classic case where the biological characteristics of the variety translate directly into the economic efficiency of your business.
