Tulip Monte Rosa

Professional Grade Triumph Tulips

'Monte Rosa' represents the Triumph tulip class, favored by commercial growers for its consistent performance and predictable growth cycle. When planning a spring production schedule, this late-blooming variety serves as a strategic asset to extend the harvest season beyond early-blooming arrivals.

Field and Greenhouse Management

• Production Efficiency: The tall, sturdy stems are engineered for high-density planting, reducing labor costs during harvesting and streamlining the bunching process.
• Disease Resistance: A significant advantage for soil management—this variety shows robust resistance to common pathogens including potato cyst nematodes, potato wart disease, and common scab. This is particularly beneficial for rotation cycles in nurseries.
• Commercial Appeal: The distinct pink petals maintain integrity post-harvest, ensuring a longer shelf life which is critical for wholesale distribution.

For growers focusing on profitability, 'Monte Rosa' offers a reliable solution that minimizes input costs related to fungicide soil treatments while maximizing the yield of premium-grade cut flowers. Proper light management is key to maintaining the plant's structural height, making it a favorite for professional indoor forcing operations.
