Tulip Montgomery Elite

Phytosanitary resilience in the field

For a professional grower, the 'Montgomery Elite' (Montgomery Elite) tulip represents a significant reduction in fungal management efforts. This variety is noted for its robust resistance to a spectrum of common pathogens, including Verticillium, Sclerotinia, Peronospora, Phomopsis, and Phoma. For the operator, this translates into lower fungicide costs and significantly reduced losses during both the vegetation period and storage phases.

Handling and growth profile

As a classic Single Late tulip, this variety is optimized for industrial production. The visual appeal of its red and white petal combination makes it a consistent market performer, while its medium stem height allows for seamless mechanical harvesting and standardized packaging. The crop does not require complex growth regulation, as its natural habit is balanced and predictable.

• Class: Single Late Tulip.
• Resilience: High resistance to major fungal diseases.
• Growth: Average height, uniform development.
• Management: Follows standard bulb cultivation protocols; no need for specialized or expensive additives.

Choosing 'Montgomery Elite' is a strategic decision for those looking to maximize margins by minimizing crop loss. The variety’s inherent health profile ensures that investment in bulbs results in a high-quality, marketable yield without unexpected sanitary setbacks.
