Tulip Innuendo

Why Innuendo is a Florist's Favorite

The Innuendo tulip belongs to the Triumph class, making it a top choice for professional cut flower production. Its standout feature is the unique color play: a delicate pink petal base contrasted with a crisp white edge. This level of refinement is rarely matched by other varieties within its category.

Agronomic Advantages

Unlike many hybrids that demand complex indoor management, this variety demonstrates remarkable resistance to fungal diseases. Breeders have successfully optimized its immune system against the most common threats to bulbous crops:

• Alternaria;
• Sclerotinia;
• Phoma;
• Cylindrosporium.

Such resilience reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, making production both more cost-effective and sustainable. The medium stem height ensures excellent structural integrity; the buds are sturdy and the stems remain straight, even under high-intensity artificial light.

Who Should Choose Innuendo?

This tulip is a prime selection for commercial greenhouses and private farms targeting peak spring demand. Its mid-season blooming window allows for precise production cycle scheduling. Due to its tight, dense bud structure, the variety withstands the rigors of logistics, a critical factor for wholesale distributors. However, growers should note that Innuendo requires strict temperature control during forced blooming to ensure the vibrant color contrast remains consistent.
