Tulip Invasion

Technical profile of the 'Invasion' tulip

As a member of the Triumph class, the 'Invasion' tulip represents an engineering feat in plant breeding, focused on structural stability and biological defense. The design of this hybrid centers on a robust, upright stem capable of withstanding mechanical stress during intensive cultivation, paired with a bloom architecture that maintains integrity under temperature fluctuations.

Phytosanitary Resilience and Morphological Design

Resistance to a broad spectrum of pathogens is the core strength of 'Invasion'. The hybrid’s genetic makeup is engineered to resist Sclerotinia, Peronospora, Phomopsis, and Phoma, significantly reducing the dependency on chemical fungicides in both greenhouse and field environments. This biological fortification ensures:

• Pathogen Defense: High density of cell walls effectively restricts fungal colonization.
• Root System Integrity: Minimized risk of rot in high-humidity substrates.
• Post-Harvest Durability: Superior resistance to storage-related diseases ensures high quality for distribution.

Agronomic Parameters

A mid-season blooming variety, 'Invasion' features a striking red-and-white bicolor palette. Its optimized height makes it versatile for both cut flower production and professional landscaping. The synchronous development of the flowering stems simplifies the logistics of industrial harvesting. The consistency of color expression across different light intensity regimes provides growers with a highly predictable tool for commercial cultivation.
