Tulip Sweety

Professional choice for commercial forcing and garden design

The 'Sweetie' tulip, a classic Triumph variety, is highly regarded by growers for its reliability and commercial viability. Characterized by its mid-season bloom and sturdy stem, it is a go-to choice for both greenhouse production and landscape management.

Practical application in agriculture

• Forcing Efficiency: 'Sweetie' responds exceptionally well to cooling protocols. Its moderate height prevents stem lodging, ensuring a high percentage of marketable stems during the harvesting process.
• Market Appeal: The delicate white-to-pink coloration of the petals provides a premium aesthetic, highly sought after for early spring floral arrangements and retail bouquets.
• Durability: The variety exhibits robust resistance to temperature fluctuations, making it a dependable option for plastic greenhouses with basic climate control systems.

From a production standpoint, 'Sweetie' is favored for its uniform development. It maintains a dense bloom structure, which is crucial for logistics and post-harvest shelf life. Whether utilized for large-scale bulb forcing or mid-layer landscape planting, this variety offers a reliable return on investment through consistent quality and bloom timing.
