Tulip Holland Beauty

Engineering Parameters and Vegetation

Holland Beauty is a Triumph class hybrid designed for controlled industrial forcing and landscaping. The core advantage of this cultivar lies in its balanced floral architecture: despite its medium height, the plant exhibits exceptional mechanical resilience, significantly reducing the risk of lodging during high wind or drastic temperature fluctuations.

Biological Defense and Resistance

At a genetic level, the variety demonstrates significant resistance to Fusarium, one of the most detrimental fungal pathogens in bulbous crop segments. This technical advantage drastically lowers storage losses of planting material and minimizes the need for frequent fungicide applications during the growing season. The dense structure of the petal epidermis acts as a primary physical barrier against infection.

Phenology and Forcing

As an early-flowering representative of the Triumph group, Holland Beauty requires strict adherence to cold storage temperature regimes. Precise completion of vernalization phases ensures uniform harvesting with highly predictable timing. The pink pigment of the petals possesses high UV resistance, which is critical for maintaining marketability during the spring sales window.
