Tulip Design Impression

Early Bloomers: Reliability and Commercial Quality

The 'Design Impression' tulip is a Darwins hybrid variety specifically developed for commercial growers prioritizing early bloom cycles. Combining robust growth habits with high field resistance to pathogens, it serves as a reliable asset for both greenhouse and controlled-environment production.

Disease Resistance as a Competitive Edge

To reduce operational costs and minimize crop failure, this variety provides natural genetic defenses against common bulb-related issues:

• Fusarium and Verticillium wilts: ensures high plant survival rates even in high-density planting schemes.
• Mosaic virus: maintains uniform plant development, keeping the crop healthy throughout the growing season.
• Cladosporium: offers resilience against fluctuating humidity levels, which is crucial for early-season greenhouse operations.

Practical Field Application

With its medium-height stem, 'Design Impression' is perfectly adapted for mechanized cutting and high-speed packaging. The delicate pink petals are highly sought after for spring holiday floral arrangements, and the strong peduncle ensures minimal breakage during transport. By integrating this early-blooming variety into your greenhouse schedule, you can optimize rotation cycles and predict revenue with higher precision.

For modern farms, choosing this hybrid is a strategic move to lower chemical inputs. Its consistent growth patterns allow for predictable harvesting, making it a staple for any professional grower focused on high-quality floral production.
