Tulip DOME FOR THE INCHMAN

Focusing on Aesthetics and Durability

The "Domik dlya Dyuymovochki" (Thumbelina's House) tulip is a breeding success from the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, designed for professional cultivation and cut-flower production. Its performance is predictable and highly stable, making it a reliable choice for commercial growers.

Agrotechnics and Operational Specs

The plant reaches a height of 45–55 cm, with a robust stem of 35–45 cm that maintains a perfect vertical position. This geometry is ideal for florists: the tulip does not droop, ensuring a high-quality appearance even after long-distance transport. The flower size (6–8 cm) allows for the creation of dense, commercially attractive bouquets.

• Stem Handling: The sturdy stem structure ensures resistance to lodging. When harvesting, it is recommended to leave a portion of the stem to maintain plant integrity.
• Color Profile: The delicate pink hue requires proper lighting control. Insufficient light can lead to fading, so monitoring exposure is a key maintenance factor.
• Fragrance: A moderate, pleasant scent adds value to the final product without overpowering the fresh, green aroma of the foliage.

Maintenance of the plot with this variety is straightforward, requiring standard soil moisture monitoring and timely nitrogen-potassium fertilization during the active growth phase. The variety is resilient; in quality soil, it rarely suffers from diseases, which significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications.
